Cookie day weekend

As usual - a great time was had!
Friday
Boug got there around 2:30 (took off work) and helped set up. Unloaded the car, but I sent ingredients ahead with Connie so not so bad.
Quick run to the store for a few more things - lunch stuff

-1.5 pounds each of shaved turkey and ham
-4 sliced cheeses - sharp cheddar, motz, Swiss and colby-jack
Set up the house, moved tables upstairs, moved kitchen stuff around, set up work stations

- made my bed - note to self - either bring a heater or a heated mattress pad for that room!

Vicki checked in - she was working downstairs at Lassens
Sami was on the road with Zac(Matt/Brian/Josh)Zac and Zander

Connie and I jumped in car and met at Lassens for dinner - as we were walking up (from city parking lot) Sami came up and we grabbed Zander. He'd had a good nap and was a bit cranky.
Down to the basement - We grabbed a table and were ready to start the evening.

Great Food - I tried the fried Brussels sprouts salad.
We waved at Dom-Dom being Bar Back Boy.

Sami and Zac and Zander headed back to the house -Connie, Vicki and I ran to her apartment to grab some stuff - more cookie makings and then to cookie central to start on refrigerator recipes.

Our goal was two (or so) per person and bakers were: Connie, Vicki, Zac, Boug, Sami.
Up til about 12:30 getting doughs in the fridge.

Saturday:
Little bit later start than usual - breakfast cooked by Zac, (great job!) bacon and eggs.

Vicki came , grabbed Con and ran to the store. Back with coffee & more ingredients.
Eric showed up by 11 - just in time for breakfast. Ovens were lit and we started.

Next to arrive were Cari and Emme
Bill showed up - with Coffee box to keep us 
Samantha and Grayson (5 months - what a slacker! Just drank milk and relaxed the whole time)
Then Maricka
Lots of baking and silliness ensued
Dom Dom came when done with his real job (and brought Cannolis)
Then Sandy came.

Bill stopped back by with his daughter Kelli - but they didn't bake.

Connie & Sandy brought some over to work for their friends to enjoy.We had the standard long night - finished last pan around 1:15 to 1:30.
Covered everything up - and minor cleaning then all to bed.



Sunday:
Cats mad at us for being in their space - so they kicked dirt out of a plant onto my printer.
Slow wake up - grabbed a shower, then Connie showered.
Sami & Zac and Zander awake, and now getting ready to go to breakfast.

Then we'll be back for clean up. 

Clean up went great - Zac is quite the helper - did dishes and helped me out totally by moving stuff to my car.
I've been told I have a coconut problem - may need an intervention - but I like it!
Put a lot of the house back together for Connie - Kitties happy that we were all leaving.
As usual - the turkey soup and sandwiches were great, when Connie finds a new place we do want her to have a huge kitchen again - we sure do need the space.

Our shirts were a hit - and I have an idea for next year....
